With the overvoltaged transformer, do you think the +-18v rail got up to 20v? If it did then many of the opamps tied to the +-18v bus may be damaged. Lots of those in the ADC.

That's possible, even though there are zener clamps on both input (36V) before LDOs and output, which specced 22V. Opamps can be dealt with, but unobtanium ASIC - is different story..
It's hard to tell if any problem without knowing what signal waveform should be look like.
